Welcome to the Alliance Chapter Website. We appreciate your interest in Eastern Star and welcome you to contact us at stars@allianceoes.org. should you have any questions regarding our fraternal organization.

We have and are a part of many community events that do not require membership. The Important Dates page will list events with a *. For example (*open to public*) you are welcome to attend.

We are located at the Alliance Masonic Temple, 144 S. Linden Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601. The temple phone number is (330) 823-5181. Directions to the temple: From State Street, turn north (left if coming from the west; right if coming from the east) on Arch. Turn right at Broadway. Turn left at Linden. Go one block and the Alliance Masonic Temple is on the right side.

We are A non-profit, social organization comprised of both men and women with strong beliefs in a supreme being. Charitable contributions to the Eastern Star Home in Mt. Vernon, heart and cancer funds are made by this organization each year, as well as, supporting the 32nd Degree Masonic Learning Centers for dyslexic individuals, and ESTARL (Eastern Star Training Awards for Religious Leadership) which is an award given to a student of theology and religious music. Alliance Chapter #296 also supports charities within the community. In addition, we hold many social and fundraising events such as dinners, balls, attend plays, bus trips, scrapbooking crops, and local fairs and festivals. Above all, we support each other and help our members and community in times of need. Our meetings are held on the first and third Fridays of the month at 7:30 p.m., except July and August.
